Reliable installation protection with NH2 fuse link
The NH2 355A/500V knife fuse link is a protective element designed to protect electrical installations from the effects of overloads and short circuits. It is a proven component manufactured in accordance with PN-93/E-06160 (gF), PN-IEC-269 and VDE 0636 standards. Thanks to its construction and parameters, this fuse link finds application in demanding industrial and commercial environments.
Construction and characteristic features
The fuse link is characterized by a solid construction based on a body made of steatite – a material with high thermal stability. The knife contacts are made of silver-plated brass, which ensures good electrical contact and minimizes power losses. The aluminum covers guarantee corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. The fuse link has a double tripping indicator – a red eye in the central part of the ceramic body and a springy plate on the top cover, which facilitates quick identification of a blown fuse and speeds up the replacement process. The body is filled with quartz sand of a special granulation, which ensures a high short-circuit breaking capacity.
Application and benefits
The NH2 355A/500V fuse link is an ideal solution for:
- Protection of electrical circuits in industrial, commercial and energy installations.
- Protection against overloads caused by excessive current draw by receivers.
- Protection against short circuits, which can lead to damage to equipment and fire.
- Fast fault diagnosis thanks to the double tripping indicator – both in the fuse base and the disconnector.
- Ensuring continuity of installation operation thanks to reliable protection against the effects of disturbances.
Additionally, production in the EU guarantees a high standard of quality and compliance with European safety standards. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (AC) is as high as 120kA, which demonstrates high effectiveness in emergency situations. The gG/gL characteristic ensures versatile application for both wire and device protection.
