The IZ16/4F/12 insulated busbar is a high-quality component of the power supply system in electrical distribution boards, designed for the rapid and safe connection of multiple modular devices. The busbar enables efficient power bridging between circuit breakers, residual current devices, and switches, replacing time-consuming traditional wiring connections.

Construction and materials

The busbar is made of M1EZ6 type copper with a thickness of 1.5mm, ensuring excellent electrical conductivity and resistance to thermal loads. The 16 mm² cross-section allows for a rated continuous current of 100A, meeting the requirements of most domestic and industrial installations.

The insulation is made of high-temperature resistant and self-extinguishing PVC, which guarantees operational safety and compliance with the highest fire protection standards. The fork design ensures easy and secure connection to modular devices with an 18mm pitch.

Operating parameters and safety

The device operates at a rated AC voltage of up to 500V (in accordance with the PN-EN 60947-7-1 standard), offering an insulation strength Ui of 2.5kV. The insulation resistance exceeds 2.5 MΩ (in accordance with PN-EN 53482), guaranteeing effective protection against electric shock.

The busbar maintains full functionality within a temperature range from -20°C to +50°C, and the glow-wire test at 850°C confirms its high fire resistance. The V-O flammability class signifies the highest level of safety in the event of a fire.

Application and compatibility

The IZ16/4F/12 model is designed for 4-phase (L1+L2+L3+N) installations in modular distribution boards with a length of 12 modules (210mm). The busbar is compatible with a wide range of ETI POLAM brand devices, including the ETIMAT 6, ETITEC, SV, VLD01, and ETIMAT P10 series.

Thanks to the standard modular pitch and universal fork design, the busbar enables aesthetic organization of connections and saves space inside the distribution board enclosure.
