The LBS 160 4P isolator switch is a solid and proven device designed for safely disconnecting electrical circuits. It allows switching operations under load, providing a clear isolation gap. Functionality and application

The LBS 160 4P isolator switch finds wide application in electrical installations with voltage up to 415 V AC and in direct current (DC) circuits. Its design allows for mounting on a plate, in distribution boards and frontally – providing great flexibility during installation. The rated continuous current of 160 A and the rated operating power for AC-23, 400 V of 80 kW make it an ideal solution for medium and high power circuits. The possibility of using a padlock provides additional protection against unauthorized switching.

Construction features and additional possibilities

The device is characterized by a double isolation gap in each pole, which increases the level of safety. The apparatus status indicator clearly informs about the position of the main contacts, and the possibility of connecting auxiliary contacts LBS-PS11 and LBS-2PS11 expands the functionality of the isolator switch. Additionally, LBS-TS terminal covers are available, which provide additional protection against accidental contact with live wires. It is important to remember that LBS isolators are sold without a handle – an appropriate model should be selected from the accessories (single up to 630A or double-sided from 800A).
