LPC Capacitors – Effective Reactive Power Compensation

LPC capacitors are reliable and proven devices designed to compensate for reactive power in electrical installations. They are used both in individual loads (transformers, motors, rectifiers, lighting) and in automatic capacitor bank systems. Their task is to improve the power factor (cos φ), which translates into reduced energy losses, network load and electricity costs.

LPC capacitors with an internal delta (∆) connection utilize metallized polypropylene film with low losses, ensuring long life and high efficiency. The dry construction, filled with non-toxic polypropylene resin, guarantees excellent heat dissipation and safe operation. The aluminum housing protects against mechanical damage and environmental influences. Additionally, the capacitors are equipped with overpressure disconnectors, which provide protection against overload and short circuit.
