ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is a proven safety element in electrical installations – both in residential buildings and in public or industrial facilities. Its task is to protect circuits against the effects of overloads and short circuits, ensuring the safety of the installation and connected devices. The design and D tripping characteristic make it particularly recommended for protecting circuits with receivers with high inrush current, e.g. motors.

Functionality and technical parameters

This single-pole (1P) circuit breaker with a rated current of 4A is characterized by a high short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA at both 230V and 400V. The rated impulse withstand voltage of 4kV ensures resistance to overvoltage. Made with attention to detail, it meets the standards IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2, which guarantees its reliability and compliance with applicable standards. A width of 1 module allows for efficient use of space in the switchgear cabinet. The ability to connect wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² (solid and stranded) provides a wide range of applications.

Installation and user comfort

ETIMAT 6 offers a number of conveniences for installers and users. The possibility of mounting auxiliary contacts (PS ETIMAT 10) and an overcurrent release (DA ETIMAT 10) allows for expanding the functionality of the circuit breaker and adapting it to specific application needs. Thanks to the possibility of supplying power from below and from above, as well as the double connection of the insulating busbar (top and bottom), installation is quick and flexible. The contact position indicator and the ability to seal the lever in the "On" and "Off" positions increase safety. The "ON/OFF" marking on the switching lever makes operation easier. Each circuit breaker has an individual EAN code for easy identification.
