Functionality and parameters tailored to needs

The design of the ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker is based on characteristic D, which means that it reacts with a certain delay to short-term current surges. This is particularly important when protecting circuits powering devices with high inrush current, such as motors or transformers – it allows to avoid unnecessary tripping of the protection during start-up. The rated current of 6A makes it an ideal choice for protecting circuits with moderate load.

The rated short-circuit breaking capacity Icn is 6 kA at both 230V and 400V, which guarantees effective disconnection of the circuit in the event of a short circuit. The circuit breaker has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against contact with fingers and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² provides flexibility in choosing the appropriate power cable.

Additionally, the ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker offers the possibility of expansion by mounting auxiliary contacts (PS ETIMAT 10) and an overcurrent release (DA ETIMAT 10), which allows you to adapt its functionality to the specific requirements of the installation. The contact position indicator facilitates visual control of the circuit breaker status, and the possibility of sealing the lever provides additional safety.
