Design and operating parameters

The ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker with a rated current of 10A is characterized by a D characteristic, which means it reacts with a delay to short-term current surges. This is particularly important when protecting circuits with devices with high inrush current, such as motors or transformers. The two-pole design allows for the protection of two independent circuits. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity at 6kA at 230/400V ensures effective disconnection of the circuit in the event of a failure. The circuit breaker is designed to operate in a wide range of ambient temperatures, from -25°C to +55°C and frequencies of 50-60Hz.

Installation and compatibility

The circuit breaker is mounted on a standard DIN TH35 rail, which facilitates and speeds up installation. It accepts wire cross-sections from 1 to 25 mm², both solid and stranded. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against contact and ingress of solid objects.
