The three-pole design (3P) allows for the protection of the entire circuit, and the rated current of 16A is suitable for most standard applications. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA (at 400V and 230V) guarantees an effective response in the event of a failure. A width of 3 modules simplifies installation in electrical switchboards.

Functionality and expandability

The ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker offers not only basic protection but also the possibility of expansion with additional elements. The ability to mount auxiliary contacts (PS ETIMAT 10) allows for remote monitoring of the circuit breaker status, and the overcurrent release (DA ETIMAT 10) increases the level of protection against sudden voltage surges. In addition, the device has a contact position indicator and the ability to seal the lever, which prevents unauthorized changes to the settings. The wire connection with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² ensures compatibility with various types of installations.
