Functionality and construction

This surge protector is characterized by a 3+1 construction, meaning three phase poles and one N-PE protective pole. It utilizes a combination of metal oxide varistors (MOV) and gas discharge tubes (GDT) for optimal protection. A built-in optical indicator signals the device status – green indicates functionality, and red indicates damage, making it easy to quickly identify the need for replacement. Additionally, it has thermal protection that disconnects the surge protector in case of exceeding the maximum current, protecting it from damage.

Application and compatibility

The device is designed to operate in networks with a rated voltage of 240 V and a maximum continuous operating voltage of 300 V. The rated impulse current of 12.5 kA (10/350 µs) provides effective protection against sudden voltage spikes. It is compatible with various network systems: TN, TN-S and TT.
