The overload release setting range of 0.63…1 A allows you to adjust the sensitivity to the load characteristics. The phase failure sensitivity increases the safety of the motor operation, protecting it from damage in the event of loss of one of the supply phases. This is particularly important in industrial applications where power failures can lead to costly downtime.

This starter is used to protect:

Construction and product features

The construction of the MS18-1A starter is based on a solid, fixed device. It has frame terminals to facilitate connection of wires. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 50 kA at 400 V AC guarantees effective disconnection of the circuit in the event of a serious failure. The lack of an integrated auxiliary contact and undervoltage release simplifies the device's construction, making it more affordable without losing key protective functions.
