Power limiter – protection for installations and devices

The OSP 10 power limiter is a single-pole device designed to protect electrical installations from the effects of overvoltages and short-circuit currents. Mounted on a DIN rail, it effectively limits the surge current, protecting connected receivers – especially those sensitive to sudden voltage changes. Construction and application

The OSP 10 limiter is used in electrical installations in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Its main task is to protect against damage caused by atmospheric overvoltages (lightning strikes) and disturbances in the power grid. Thanks to its D characteristic, it copes well with impulse loads, such as starting electric motors or transformers.
