Residual Current Device (RCD) EFI-P2 AC 25/0.03 is a key element in protecting electrical installations, safeguarding against electric shock in the event of direct or indirect contact with live conductors. Functionality and parameters

This RCD is characterized by a rated current of 25A and a differential current of 0.03A. Its construction is based on AC technology, which means it reacts to alternating differential currents. The two-pole design (2P) makes it ideal for protecting two-phase circuits. Mounting is done on a DIN rail, which simplifies and speeds up installation. The short-circuit strength of 10kA guarantees reliable operation even in the event of overloads. It has a connection wire cross-section of up to 25 mm² (multi-core and solid core) and a protection degree of IP20.

Construction and application

The RCD has been designed with ease of installation and use in mind. Compact dimensions (2 module width) allow for efficient use of space in the distribution board. Connection terminals allow the connection of wires with a cross-section of up to 25 mm². This makes the device versatile and can be used in both domestic and industrial installations. The contact position indicator makes it easy to identify the status of the RCD – whether it is on or off. Additionally, the ability to lock the lever against accidental adjustment increases safety. The impulse withstand current is 0.4kA, which further increases its reliability.
