Functionality and application

EFI-P RCDs are designed for use in TN-S, TN-C-S, TT and IT networks where the neutral and earth conductors are separated. The choice of the appropriate differential current value (in this case 0.3A) depends on the specifics of the protected circuit – lower values (up to 30mA) are used for additional personal protection, and higher values (up to 300mA) for fire protection. This model, thanks to its AC characteristics, effectively reacts to alternating differential currents, ensuring a quick response in the event of a failure.

Construction and technical parameters

The switch is characterized by a solid construction and high quality workmanship. Its width of 2 modules allows for efficient use of space in the switchgear cabinet. The cross-section of the connected multi-core and solid-core wire is 25 mm², which allows connection of wires of appropriate thickness. The short-circuit strength of 10 kA guarantees its resistance to the effects of short circuits in the installation. Additionally, the degree of protection IP20 provides protection against accidental contact. It is worth noting the rated insulation voltage Ui of 440V and the impulse withstand voltage of 0.4 kA – these parameters testify to the high reliability of the device. The built-in test button allows you to regularly check the correct operation of the switch, and the contact position indicator makes it easy to identify the device status (ON/OFF).
