Residual Current Device (RCD) EFI-P2 AC 80/0.5 is a key element ensuring safety in every electrical circuit. Its task is to protect against electric shock, both in the case of direct and indirect contact with live parts. Additionally, it protects devices from potential fire hazard resulting from insulation damage. Mounted on a DIN rail, this two-pole (2P) switch with a rated current of 80A and AC sensitivity of 0.5A, will find application in TN-S, TN-C-S, TT and IT networks.

Functionality and technical parameters

This AC type RCD is sensitive to alternating residual currents, which means effective reaction to dangerous leakage currents. Its short-circuit strength is 10 kA, guaranteeing reliable operation even in difficult conditions. Adapted for multi-wire and solid-core wires with a cross-section of 25 mm², it provides flexibility during installation. Rated voltage 240V and frequency 50/60 Hz make it compatible with most standard electrical installations in Poland. Compact dimensions – width of 2 modules and installation depth of 68 mm – facilitate mounting even in crowded switchboards. Protection class IP20 provides basic protection against accidental contact.

The EFI-P2 AC 80/0.5 switch is not only a protective element, but also a convenient solution for professionals and end users. The "Test" button allows regular checking of the switch's functionality, and the contact position indicator facilitates identification of the device's status (ON/OFF). Terminal protection against contact with voltage increases safety during installation and maintenance. The terminal design allows the use of insulated busbars, and the ability to seal the lever prevents accidental changes in settings.
