Residual Current Device (RCD) EFI-P4 A 16/0.3 002061530
Safety and protection in your electrical installation
Residual Current Device (RCD) EFI-P4 A 16/0.3 is a key element ensuring the safety of using the electrical installation. Its task is to protect against electric shock, both in the case of direct and indirect contact with live conductors. Additionally, it protects electrical devices from damage caused by overload or short circuit. This is a reliable solution for homes, workshops and industrial facilities.
Functionality and application
This four-pole RCD is designed for mounting on a DIN rail. Its sensitivity to type A differential current (0.3 A) makes it effectively respond to irregularities in the circuit, minimizing the risk of danger to people and property. The RCD is used in TN-S, TN-C-S, TT and IT networks. A rated residual current value of 0.3A is recommended for protection against indirect contact and fire protection in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-482 and IEC 60364-4-482 standards.
Technical characteristics and construction
The EFI-P4 A 16/0.3 RCD is characterized by a high short-circuit strength – up to 10 kA, which guarantees its reliability in the event of a short circuit in the installation. It is adapted to work with multi-wire and solid-core wires with a cross-section of 25 mm². Its compact design (4 module width) makes it easy to install even in tight distribution boards. The degree of protection IP20 provides protection against finger contact, which increases safety. Additionally, the RCD has a main contact position indicator to facilitate identification of the device status and a test button for regular functional control. The possibility of sealing the lever provides additional protection against unauthorized changes to the settings.
