Constructional features and application:

The RCD has been designed with ease of use and reliability in mind. It has an indicator of the main contact position, which makes it easier to identify the device status (ON/OFF). The "Test" button allows regular checking of its functionality. The connection terminals are adapted for conductors with a cross-section of 25 mm², both solid and stranded. The degree of protection IP20 provides protection against touching with a finger and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The device operates at a rated voltage of 415V and a frequency of 50/60 Hz, and its rated insulation voltage Ui is 440V. Impulse withstand voltage is 0.4kA.

Choosing an RCD of type A is particularly important in installations where devices generating pulsating DC currents are present, such as switch-mode power supplies or photovoltaic inverters – it ensures effective protection in such situations.
