Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent Protection KZS-2M is a compact and reliable solution for protecting electrical installations. The use of characteristic B means that the circuit breaker reacts quickly to an increase in short-circuit current, but is more tolerant of short-term current surges during the starting of devices with motors – which is important when protecting lighting circuits or power outlets for household appliances. The rated differential current of 0.03A provides effective protection against electric shock when touching live parts.

Construction and user features

The KZS-2M circuit breaker features a two-pole (2P) design and a width of 2 modules, allowing for space saving in the distribution board. The cross-section of the connection cables 1…25 mm² allows connection of cables of different thicknesses, adapting to the requirements of a specific installation. The terminals are protected against accidental contact under voltage, which increases safety during installation and maintenance. Additionally, the circuit breaker has a test button to check its functionality and a contact position indicator (ON/OFF) to facilitate identification of the device status. The ability to seal the lever in the "On" and "Off" positions prevents unauthorized changes to the settings.
