Its ability to absorb surge energy reaches as much as 156.2 kJ/Ohm, and the surge current (10/350 µs) is 25 kA – making it effective in the event of strong surges. The protection level of 1.5 kV ensures effective protection against damage. This surge protector is intended for use in TN and TN-C networks.

Installation and application

The installation of the surge protector is simple and intuitive thanks to the standard mounting method on the DIN rail. The maximum cross-section of wires that can be connected is 35 mm² for single- and multi-strand wires and 25 mm² for flexible wires. The optical signaling of the device's operation informs about the need to check the surge protector's condition after a surge. The lack of a built-in additional protection and signaling contact does not affect its effectiveness in the basic function of protecting against surges.
