Isolator switch – reliable circuit protection

This three-pole isolator switch ED2 125/3 is a key element of any electrical installation, providing safe and efficient circuit connection. This isolator switch is designed to operate in a wide range of voltages – from 230 V to 690 V AC – and continuous currents up to 125 A. Its withstand to short-circuit currents is as high as 65 kA, which guarantees effective protection of the installation against damage. The device design allows mounting on a plate, in distribution boards and on a TH rail using an appropriate adapter (available separately).

Versatility and functionality

The ED2 125/3 isolator switch is not only an insulating element, but also an emergency switch, main switch and safety switch. The possibility of using additional accessories – overcurrent and undervoltage releases, motor drives, auxiliary and alarm contacts, mechanical locks and various types of terminals – allows you to adapt the device to the specific needs of a given application. The power supply can be connected from any side without affecting the technical parameters.

Installation and safety

The installation of the isolator switch is simple and intuitive, and after removing the cover does not require specialized tools. Thanks to the markings of the lever positions (ON, OFF, TRIP), operation is easy and safe. Protection against direct contact is ensured by double insulation of the housing and IP20 protection degree for the terminals. Additionally, mechanical locks are available to lock two switches simultaneously. The device meets the PN-EN 60947-3 standard, which confirms its compliance with the highest safety standards.
