The SV 440 switch is a four-pole device with a rated continuous current of 40A and a maximum operating voltage of AC 400V. The rated conditional short-circuit current is 2kA. Connection of the main contacts is realized by means of frame clamps, which ensures a solid and reliable connection of conductors with a cross-section from 1 mm² to 25 mm². The device has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against touching with a finger and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. Mounting is done on a TH35 rail. Additionally, the switch allows for optional mounting of an overcurrent release (DA ETIMAT 10), which increases its functionality and adapts it to the specific needs of the installation. The construction of the device is durable and designed for permanent mounting.
