Threaded adapter for VESBO press systems

This VESBO press half-coupling connects a 22 mm diameter pipe to a fitting with a 1" internal thread. It is a solid and quick-to-install solution, ideal for both professional installers and end-users who value reliability and ease of service. Made of carbon steel TYPE 1.0034 with a galvanized finish, it provides corrosion resistance and long-lasting tightness in water and heating systems.

Design and application

The half-coupling is designed to connect pipes to elements equipped with a 1" thread. The pressing technology guarantees a secure and tight connection without the need for soldering or using sealing pastes. The detachable design facilitates disassembly in case of service or installation modification. A flat gasket at the thread contact ensures optimal sealing without excessive tightening. This is particularly useful in places with limited space where service access is difficult.

Safety and quality control

VESBO has taken care of the installation safety by equipping the half-coupling with two key elements:

• Visual unpressed ring: Allows quick identification of fittings that have not yet been crimped, minimizing the risk of leaks.
• LBP (Leak Before Press) O-rings: In case of lack of pressing, they cause a noticeable leak, ensuring that a potential mounting error is detected before the system is started. This proactive approach to quality control reduces the risk of complaints and speeds up system start-up.

Additionally, carbon steel 1.0034 with external galvanizing ensures durability and corrosion resistance in typical installation conditions – boiler rooms, heat exchanger stations or installation shafts.
