The electrolyte trapped in fiberglass separators eliminates the need to replenish fluids and allows operation in any position.

Construction and Application

These batteries utilize a hydrogen recombination process, meaning the gas produced during charging is converted back into water, minimizing electrolyte loss and ensuring long-term performance. Equipped with unidirectional pressure relief valves VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead-Acid), they protect against excessive internal pressure and the risk of casing damage. This makes Acumax AML 7-12 batteries safe to use and can be used in various environmental conditions. They are approved for air, sea and land transport as non-hazardous material.

It is important to remember the appropriate charging voltage: buffer operation – 13.65V ± 0.15V, cyclic operation – 14.70V ± 0.30V and recommended charging current at 0.7A (maximum charging current is 2.1A). The maximum discharge current is up to 105A for a short time (5 seconds).
