The SSB SBL 7.2-12L battery is a solid and reliable power source, designed for buffer operation, i.e. providing power in the event of a mains failure. It utilizes VRLA AGM technology, which means it is maintenance-free and safe to use. Its construction guarantees a long service life – up to 12 years under optimal conditions. This battery is suitable for both home installations and professional UPS systems.

Construction and parameters

The battery is characterized by a compact design and dimensions of 151 mm length, 65 mm width and 94 mm height (100 mm with connectors). The weight of the device is approximately 2.15 kg. Made in AGM technology with electrolyte trapped in glass mat separators, it provides high efficiency and reliability. It has 6.3 mm faston connectors, which facilitate connection to the installation. The internal resistance at around 25 mΩ minimizes energy losses. Self-discharge is only 3% of capacity per month at 25°C, which means the battery is ready to use even after prolonged storage.

Thanks to AGM technology, the battery is completely maintenance-free – it does not require topping up the electrolyte or monitoring the fluid level. It is sealed, which eliminates the risk of acid leakage and allows installation in any position (except inverted with terminals downwards). Additionally, it is characterized by high resistance to extreme temperatures, shocks and vibrations, making it an ideal solution for harsh working conditions. Charging voltages for buffer operation are in the range of 13.6V-13.8V and for cyclic 14.5V-14.9V.
