The R-240 distribution box is a practical and reliable solution for the safe distribution of electrical energy in various types of installations. Construction and equipment

The distribution box housing is made of durable ABS plastic, which ensures its resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. The IP56 protection class guarantees protection against water jets and dust, allowing installation in various environmental conditions. Inside there are two 16A 5-pole sockets and two 230V sockets, allowing connection of a wide range of devices. Additionally, the distribution box is equipped with a L/P circuit breaker with a rated current of 32A, which ensures safe disconnection of the circuit if necessary. A PG16 cable gland allows cables to be introduced into the housing. A terminal block with a cross-section of 10mm² provides a secure connection of the wires.

Wiring and mounting

The distribution box is supplied with wiring: 16A/5p cable with a cross-section of 2.5mm² and 230V cable with a cross-section of 1.5mm². Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician with appropriate permissions. It should be remembered that the distribution box does not have its own protection – it requires connection to the main distribution box with appropriate overload and short-circuit protection. A metal screw securing the cover ensures its stable closure. The sockets have an IP44 protection class, which increases safety of use.
