Bistable relay, flush-mounted, two independent control circuits BIS-416
Bistable relay for flush-mount installation – independent lighting control
The BIS-416 relay is an ideal solution for both installers and end-users who want full control over lighting or other electrical devices. It allows convenient control from multiple points, using momentary push buttons connected in parallel. The dual-channel design allows independent control of two circuits, increasing the functionality and flexibility of the installation.
Functionality and application
The BIS-416 relay is designed for mounting in a flush-mount box with a diameter of 60 mm. This makes it discreet and does not disrupt the aesthetics of the interior. Its operation is based on current pulses – the receiver is switched on by pressing any button connected to the relay, and the next press switches it off. This simple and intuitive solution works in many applications, from controlling lighting in residential premises to switching on devices in commercial buildings.
Key features:
- Two independent circuits: Ability to control two different receivers or groups of receivers.
- Impulse control: Convenient and intuitive operation – an impulse is enough to change the circuit state.
- Flush-mount installation: Discreet appearance and no visible wires.
- No "memory" of state: After a power failure, the relay returns to the off state, ensuring safety and preventing uncontrolled switching on of receivers.
- Wide power supply voltage range: The relay works with a voltage of 165÷265 V AC, making it a universal solution for various electrical installations.
- Possibility of cooperation with illuminated buttons: Increases comfort of use and facilitates location in the dark.
Technical parameters and safety
The BIS-416 relay is characterized by a maximum load current of 8 A per channel and the ability to switch bulbs up to 3000 W, fluorescent lamps up to 750 VA. It ensures safe operation thanks to short-circuit and overload protection. It is worth remembering that connecting a large number of illuminated buttons may cause the lighting to switch on spontaneously or to remain on permanently – this should be taken into account when designing the installation. The relay has a protection class of IP20, which means protection against touching with a finger and solid bodies larger than 12.5 mm. The control pulse current is less than 5 mA, ensuring compatibility with various types of control buttons.
