This microprocessor-based phase loss and asymmetry sensor is a reliable solution for protecting three-phase powered electric motors. Functionality and application

The sensor is designed to protect against the effects of phase loss – a situation where the voltage in one or more phases of the network disappears, which can lead to overload of the remaining phases and damage to the motor. Additionally, it monitors the asymmetry of voltages between phases. Asymmetry above the permissible value (45V) can cause the motor to overheat and shorten its lifespan. Thanks to the use of True RMS technology, the measurement is accurate even in the presence of harmonics in the power supply network.

The voltage measurement range is 140-270V, making it compatible with most three-phase networks. Adjustable time delay (4s) helps to avoid false alarms caused by short-term disturbances in the network.
