Electromagnetic relay, 2CO 16A, flush-mounted PP-2Z-LED-230V
Flush-mounted relay – reliable lighting and circuit control
This electromagnetic relay is a solid solution for controlling lighting, sockets and other electrical devices. Designed for mounting in a flush-mounted box with a diameter of 60 mm, it provides a discreet and functional solution in any room. The relay is particularly recommended for applications with high inrush currents, such as LED fluorescent lamps, ESL fluorescent lamps, electronic transformers or discharge lamps.
Functionality and technical parameters
The relay has two normally open (NO) contacts, allowing you to control two independent circuits. Its construction based on a relay actuator guarantees a high switching durability – minimum 5 million cycles. Screw terminals allow connection of wires with a cross-section of up to 2.5 mm², and a tightening torque of 0.4 Nm ensures a secure connection. The supply voltage in the range of 100-265 V AC makes the relay compatible with most electrical installations.
The maximum AC-1 load current is 16 A (with a short-term current surge of up to 160 A for 20 ms), making it suitable for controlling various loads. It is worth remembering that with inductive or capacitive loads (e.g. motors, switch-mode power supplies) the durability of the contacts may be reduced – therefore, choosing the right relay is crucial for the long-term reliability of the installation. The IP20 protection class provides basic protection against touch and contamination.
Installation and application
The relay is intended for direct mounting in a flush-mounted box with a diameter of 60 mm. Its compact dimensions (48 x 43 x 25 mm) make installation easy even in limited space. This makes it suitable for both new installations and for modernizing existing electrical systems. It can be used in homes, apartments, offices and other buildings to control lighting, electrical sockets or other devices requiring remote switching on and off.
