The SIMply MAX P02 GSM remote control relay is a solution for individuals and companies who need a convenient and secure way to control access to gates, barriers, or wickets. The device allows you to open and close the gate using your mobile phone, eliminating the need for traditional remote controls. This is particularly useful in high-traffic areas or for people with access rights, such as housing estates, car parks, or companies.

Functionality and application

SIMply MAX P02 operates on a GSM network, which means that all you need to operate it is an active SIM card from any operator. The relay has two independently controlled contacts, allowing you to operate two different devices or functions. It can be used to remotely open the gate (channel 1) and control lighting or an alarm system (channel 2). Thanks to the CLIP function, the caller's phone number is identified automatically, and control is free of charge – it does not generate connection costs. Additionally, the device offers the ability to program the gate opening and closing time and to remotely add and remove authorized user phone numbers using SMS commands.

It is equipped with screw terminals for connecting wires and an SMA connector for connecting a GSM antenna (antenna cable length: 2.5 m). Power consumption in standby mode is 1.3 W, and during GSM communication – below 3 W. The dimensions of the device are 90 mm x 65 mm x 52 mm (3 modules on a DIN rail).

Compatibility and requirements

To ensure proper operation of the SIMply MAX P02 relay, an active SIM card from any GSM operator operating in Poland is required (no simlock). It is recommended to use SIM cards with a telemetry/m2m tariff to avoid additional charges for SMS or voice calls. Before starting the device, disable the SIM card PIN code and clear the inbox. It is also important to set the SMS input mode to TEXT (not UNICODE) in your mobile phone settings.
