Bistable group relay 9÷30 v ac/dc, DIN rail mounted, with inrush relay 160a/20ms BIS-412-LED-24V

Bistable group relay – lighting and device control

The BIS-412-LED-24V bistable relay is a solution designed to control lighting or other devices from multiple points, ideal for use in public buildings, hotels or large homes. It allows you to create groups of circuits that can be managed both locally and centrally. This provides flexibility and convenience in managing the electrical installation.

Functionality and application

The BIS-412-LED-24V relay stands out for its ability to build groups of relays, allowing central control of all receivers (on/off) using dedicated inputs. At the same time, each relay in the group can be controlled independently from several points, which increases the functionality of the system. This is particularly useful in hotel installations, where guests can individually control the lighting in their rooms. The relay is designed for mounting on a TH-35 DIN rail and occupies 1 module (18 mm).

Technical characteristics and safety

The relay operates at a supply voltage of 9÷30 V AC/DC and has a maximum load current of 16 A. It is equipped with an NO (normally open) contact and LEDs indicating the power supply status (green) and activation (red). The relay's construction provides resistance to surge currents, which is particularly important when working with receivers with high starting currents, such as LED fluorescent lamps or electronic transformers. It is worth noting that the BIS-412-LED-24V model is not compatible with backlit buttons. The control pulse current is less than 1 mA.

Control – local and central

The relay offers two control methods:

  • Local control: The receiver is switched on after a short current pulse from a momentary button connected to the local control input.
  • Central control: The ability to simultaneously switch on or off all receivers connected to a group of relays using dedicated central control inputs.

Such a system allows for convenient management of lighting or other devices throughout the building or its part.
