Humidity and temperature transducer MAX-MB-AHT-1 is a device designed for precise measurement of environmental conditions and data transmission using the Modbus RTU protocol. It is a versatile solution suitable for both building automation systems and industrial applications requiring temperature and humidity monitoring.

Features and application

The device measures temperature in the range of -40°C to 70°C and relative humidity from 0% to 100% RH. Communication is via the RS-485 port using the Modbus RTU standard, ensuring easy integration with existing control and monitoring systems. The transducer operates in Slave mode, and its address can be configured in the range of 1 to 247. Thanks to its IP65 protection class, it is resistant to dust and moisture, allowing it to be used in harsh environmental conditions.

The transducer is powered by a voltage of 9-30V DC, and its maximum current consumption is 40mA. It is made of high-quality components, which guarantees the reliability and long life of the device. The connection is made using screw terminals with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², and the tightening torque is 0.4 Nm. Compact dimensions (42 mm x 63 mm x 30 mm) facilitate surface mounting.

The temperature measurement accuracy is ±1°C, while the humidity measurement accuracy is ±4.5% (in the range of 0-80% RH) and ±6.0% (in the range of 80-100% RH). The Modbus RTU data transmission speed is configurable in the range of 1200 to 115200 bit/s, and the configuration of data bits, stop bits and parity provides flexibility to adapt to different communication systems. The device's power consumption is only 0.3W.
