Priority relay PR-613 with through channel, setting 2-15A, contacts: 1NO, Imax=16A, 1 module
Priority relay PR-613 is a reliable device designed for applications where it is necessary to protect the installation against overload caused by the simultaneous activation of several high-power receivers. It is particularly useful in situations where priority circuits require a higher load capacity than standard current protection.&
This relay, mounted on a DIN rail, offers configuration flexibility thanks to the adjustable current trigger range from 2 to 15A. It has one changeover contact (1Z), making it a universal solution for various applications. A through-channel for the current-carrying wire of the receiver (up to 4 mm in diameter) provides convenient installation and galvanic isolation of the measurement circuit.
Application and functionality
The PR-613 relay is widely used in electrical installations where there are high-power receivers that can cause overloads. Its operation involves monitoring the current draw in the priority circuit. When the current exceeds the set threshold value, the relay automatically disconnects the non-priority circuit, protecting the installation from damage. When the current draw in the priority circuit drops below the threshold, the non-priority circuit will be switched on again. This ensures priority power supply for important receivers.
Construction features and parameters
The device is characterized by a compact design – it occupies only one module (18 mm) on a 35 mm DIN rail. Its housing provides an IP20 degree of protection, which guarantees safe use under normal operating conditions. The relay is adapted to work in a wide temperature range, from -25°C to +50°C. Screw terminals with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² ensure a secure connection of the wires, and the tightening torque is 0.4 Nm. The device's power consumption is only 0.4 W.
The rated voltage is 230 V AC, and the current trigger range is 2-15 A. The rated current (control contacts) is 15 A, while the maximum continuous current is 16 A. The maximum time delay for disconnection is 100 ms, and the degree of protection (IP) is IP20. Mounting is on a DIN rail and occupies one module (18 mm).
