Signal converter – converting continuous signal to pulses

The PSI-02 converter is a device used to convert a continuous control signal into single pulses. This is crucial in automation systems where devices need to be controlled using short-duration signals. The device operates at 230V and has two outputs capable of handling a current of up to 8A, while occupying only one module in the control cabinet.

Functionality and application

PSI-02 finds application wherever there is a need to change the characteristics of the control signal. Upon receiving a signal at the UST input (rising edge), the converter generates a pulse closing contact 11-12 for 1 second. After the input signal disappears (falling edge), another pulse is generated closing contact 8-9 also for 1 second. This sequence allows for precise control of devices requiring a pulsed activation signal.
