Universal wireless dimmer – comfort and remote lighting control

This 230V AC wireless dimmer is part of the F&Wave system, allowing for wireless control of lighting in your home. Designed for mounting in a flush-mount box with a diameter of 60mm, it offers convenience and functionality for both professional installers and end-users. The F&Wave system is based on signal retransmission – each receiver automatically forwards the signal, increasing the control range, especially in larger buildings.

Functionality and application

The FW-D1P dimmer works with various types of dimmable light bulbs, including LED, halogen and traditional. It allows for smooth brightness adjustment, allowing you to create the right atmosphere in any room. Control is done using dedicated F&Wave transmitters (remote controls, wall-mounted buttons or flush-mounted modules), as well as locally – via a standard monostable button (e.g. doorbell). This gives you full control over the lighting, tailored to your needs. The ability to pair with up to 8 transmitters provides flexibility and ease of use.

Design and product features

The device is characterized by a compact housing made of thermoplastic material (grey RAL 9018 color), which facilitates mounting in a standard flush-mount box. Screw terminals ensure secure wire connections. Built-in thermal protection protects against overheating and damage in case of overload. The dimmer operates at a frequency of 868 MHz and has a protection class of IP20. Additionally, the "soft start" function ensures smooth switching on and off of the lighting, extending the life of the bulbs and improving comfort. The variable (carousel) coding system increases the security of radio transmission. The device is halogen-free, which affects its safety of use.
