The STR-4D roller shutter controller is a universal device designed to control roller shutters, blinds, awnings, and gates powered by a DC electric motor supplied with 12V or 24V voltage. Mounting on a standard 35 mm DIN rail simplifies integration with the existing electrical installation. Control is performed using momentary switches, ensuring ease of use and configuration flexibility.

Functionality and possibilities

STR-4D offers a wide range of control options, both in local and central mode. The ability to operate as a standalone device for one roller shutter or in a group, enabling central control of multiple roller shutters, makes it an ideal solution for both single-family homes and commercial properties. The controller remembers the motor's operating time settings, allowing for full opening or closing of the roller shutter with the press of a button. Additionally, the roller shutter locking function in the closed position increases security – particularly useful when arming the alarm or during unfavorable weather conditions (after using additional rain or wind sensors). The built-in direction memory function facilitates local and central control.

Construction and user features

The controller is made of durable thermoplastic material with a matte finish, providing an aesthetic appearance and resistance to mechanical damage. Compact dimensions (1 module – 18 mm) allow for easy installation even in limited space. The controller has an input for additional modules, allowing the system to be expanded with functions such as automatic closing of the roller shutter in the event of rain or strong wind detection. Halogen-free materials used in production ensure safety and compliance with applicable standards. The IP20 protection class guarantees protection against accidental contact. The maximum switching power of the controller is 320W.
