Network-Generator Switch – Safe and Reliable Power Supply

This four-pole network-generator switch PSR-463 is a key element of installations providing continuous power supply. It allows manual switching between the power grid and a backup source, such as a generator, guaranteeing safety and reliability in the event of a failure. The switch design provides a mechanical interlock, preventing simultaneous activation of both power sources, which protects both the grid and connected devices.

Functionality and Application

The PSR-463 switch finds application in three-phase installations where reliable switching between two power sources is required. Thanks to the 1-0-2 switching program, the user has full control over the process – they can choose power from the grid (position I), completely disconnect the load (position 0) or switch to generator power (position II). This solution is ideal for single-family homes, small businesses and anywhere where a power outage can cause serious losses. DIN rail mounting simplifies integration with existing electrical infrastructure.

Construction and Technical Parameters

The housing made of durable plastic ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The compact design takes up only 8 modules (135 mm wide), allowing for easy installation even in limited space within the distribution board. The switch is designed to operate at temperatures from -20°C to 50°C and has an IP20 protection class, ensuring safe use in standard environmental conditions. Screw terminals allow connection of wires with a cross-section from 2.5 mm² to 35 mm², providing flexibility in choosing wires matched to the load. The rated continuous current at 63A allows it to handle most typical loads.
