Temperature sensor module for smart home

This module, compatible with DS1820 digital sensors, allows for precise temperature measurement at eight points. It is a key element of the F&Home smart home system, enabling effective heating control and maintaining a comfortable temperature in every room. The mH-S8 module is particularly useful in installations with solenoid valves, where measurement accuracy has a direct impact on energy efficiency.

Functionality and application

The mH-S8 module is designed for mounting in electrical distribution boards, occupying 5 modules. Powered by 24V DC, it receives signals from DS1820 temperature sensors, measuring temperature in the range from +5°C to +40°C with an accuracy of 0.1°C. This ensures accurate readings even in demanding conditions. It enables independent temperature and hysteresis adjustment for each room, which translates to optimized energy consumption and user comfort.

Installation and system integration

The module is easy and intuitive to install – adapted to a flush-mounted box Fi 60 and uses screw terminals for connecting wires. The module works with mH-V8 actuator modules controlling solenoid valves in the heating circuit. The entire system is configured using a touch panel, providing full control over settings and ease of use. The IP20 protection class ensures safe operation in standard installation conditions.

Worth knowing: The module operates autonomously after settings are entered from the touch panel – it does not require a permanent connection to the F&Home Radio system central unit.
