This eight-channel sensor module, working with DS1820 sensors, is a key element of an intelligent heating system. It enables accurate temperature measurement in the range of +5 to +40°C with an accuracy of up to 0.1 degree. The mH-S8-2 LEVEL2 module is designed to work with mH-V8 actuator modules, controlling solenoid valves in the heating circuit – creating a coherent temperature regulation system in the building.

### Functionality and application

The module is primarily used in buildings equipped with the F&Home smart home system. Its main task is to collect temperature data from individual rooms and transmit it to the central controller. Based on this information, the system automatically regulates the operation of the valves, maintaining a comfortable temperature in each room. This makes it possible to set the temperature independently for each room, which translates into energy savings and increased comfort. Mounting is done on a DIN rail adapter, which facilitates integration with the existing electrical installation. The module occupies 5 modules on the DIN rail and requires a 24 VDC power supply.

### Construction and compatibility

The mH-S8-2 LEVEL2 module has been designed for easy integration with other components of the F&Home system. FTP cables are led directly to the module, ensuring a stable connection and minimizing interference. The module's autonomous operating mode allows independent setting of parameters for each room – temperature and hysteresis – directly from the touch panel. Importantly, the module is compatible with other levels of the mH-S8 series (level 1 and level 2), allowing the system to be expanded with additional temperature sensors without the need to replace the existing infrastructure. The IP20 protection class ensures safe use indoors.
