This versatile ASO-202 staircase timer, designed for surface mounting, is an ideal choice for both home use and in public buildings. It is used to automatically switch off lighting in corridors, stairwells and other rooms, providing convenience and energy savings. The anti-blocking function protects the device from damage in the event of an attempt to permanently lock the switch.

Functionality and versatility

The ASO-202 timer works with 3- and 4-wire circuits, offering installation flexibility. It has a wide range of adjustable switch-off time (0.5 to 10 minutes), allowing you to adapt the operation to individual needs. The rated switching current of 16A allows you to control lighting with a power of up to 2300W for traditional bulbs and 550VA or 800VA for fluorescent lamps (depending on the type of compensation). In addition, the device signals the upcoming shutdown by gradually dimming the lighting to 50%, informing the user about the remaining working time.

Safety and durability

Equipped with an anti-blocking function, the timer prevents continuous lighting after an attempt to lock the switch – for example, with a match. This protection prevents accidental or intentional leaving the light on permanently. The device is made of high-quality materials, which guarantees its reliable operation for a long time. Designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to 50°C, and its compact dimensions (51x67x26 mm) make it easy to install even in tight spaces. It should be remembered that connecting a large number of illuminated buttons may cause the device to malfunction – it is worth taking this into account when designing the installation.
