Flexibility and Application Possibilities

The device offers a wide range of supply voltage (24…264 V AC/DC), making it compatible with various systems. Thanks to the ability to choose between functions activated by the supply voltage, START signal or a combination of both, it can be adapted to specific project requirements. The relay is particularly useful where precise time control is required, e.g. in lighting, ventilation, heating systems or production processes. The rated switching current of 250 V AC is 16A, allowing control of loads up to 2300W for bulbs.

Construction and Technical Parameters

PCS-517 occupies 2 modules on a DIN rail, allowing for efficient use of space in the switchgear cabinet. It has one changeover contact, and its operating principle is based on digital multi-function technology. Precise setting of on-times – even down to seconds – enables the implementation of complex control sequences. The device is adapted to work with various types of loads, including incandescent bulbs, fluorescent lamps (also with compensation) and inductive coils. The switching capacity for fluorescent lamps (DUO compensation) is 1000 VA, and for inductive fluorescent lamps also 1000 VA. For fluorescent lamps with parallel compensation, this value is 800 VA. The unit of the first time interval is seconds or minutes, and the second time interval is in the range of 9-264 units.
