The PCU-511 UNI time relay is a universal device designed for time-based control in a wide range of applications – from home automation, through ventilation and heating systems, to advanced industrial installations. Its compact design (1 module) allows for mounting on a DIN rail, which greatly simplifies installation and integration with existing systems. The device offers four operating modes, providing flexibility in adapting to specific needs.

Functions and capabilities

The PCU-511 UNI relay stands out with a rich set of functions that allow for precise time control in various applications. Available operating modes include:

• Delayed-off (A): After applying the supply voltage, the contact switches and starts counting down the set time. After this time elapses, the contact returns to its initial position. Ideal for applications requiring short-term signal maintenance after power failure.
• Delayed-on (B): The contact remains in its initial position for the set time after applying the supply voltage, and then switches. Useful in situations where it is necessary to delay the start of a device or process.
• Delayed-off – cyclic (C): Delayed-off operation mode implemented in a cyclic manner, with regular intervals of working and break time. It works well in applications requiring periodic switching on and off of devices.
• Delayed-on – cyclic (D): Similar to mode C, but implements cyclic delayed switching on.

Additionally, the relay offers a wide range of time adjustment – from 0.1 seconds to 2073600 hours (approximately 237 days), which allows for precise adaptation to the specifics of a given application. Remember that changing the time range requires briefly disconnecting the power!

The PCU-511 UNI relay is characterized by a universal supply voltage (12-264 V AC/DC), which increases its compatibility with various electrical installations. It is adapted to work with 1P contacts with a current load of up to 8A at 250V AC and various types of loads – incandescent bulbs (up to 1100W), compensated fluorescent lamps (up to 550VA) or inductive fluorescent lamps (up to 550VA). The use of screw terminals with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² ensures safe and durable electrical connections. The device meets safety standards and has a protection class of IP20.
