Multifunctional Time Relay PCU-511 – Reliable Time Control
The PCU-511 time relay is a versatile device designed for precise time control in a wide range of applications – from industrial automation to home installations. Its compact design (1 module) and DIN rail mounting simplify integration with existing systems. This relay offers several operating modes, making it an ideal solution for diverse needs.
Functions and Applications
This relay is not just a simple delay. It offers four basic functions: delayed dropout, delayed pickup, cyclic delayed dropout, and cyclic delayed pickup. This allows it to be used to control lighting, ventilation, heating, signaling, and other devices requiring precise timing.
- Delayed dropout (A): After applying the supply voltage, the contact switches and starts counting down the time. After the set time elapses, the contact returns to its initial position.
- Delayed pickup (B): Before and after applying the supply voltage, the contact remains in its initial position, and then switches after the set time elapses.
- Cyclic delayed dropout (C): The relay performs a cyclic operation with set work and pause intervals.
- Cyclic delayed pickup (D): Similar to mode C, but with cyclic delayed pickup.
Technical Parameters and Characteristics
The PCU-511 relay has been designed with reliability and safety in mind. Its 1P contacts can withstand a current of up to 10A at 230V AC, and the switching capacity for inductive fluorescent lamps is 550 VA. The power supply can be either AC or DC in the range of 230V. DIN rail mounting simplifies installation and servicing. A wide range of time adjustment (from 0.1 seconds to 24 days) allows the device to be adapted to specific application requirements.
Note a few important details: the unit does not respond to changes in the time range during operation, and the newly set range only starts working after the power is switched on again. Additionally, smooth time adjustment is only possible when the power is on in the set time range.
