Twilight switch – reliable lighting control

The AZH-106 twilight switch is a practical solution for automatically turning on and off external and internal lighting, depending on the light intensity. The device is particularly useful in places where we need to provide lighting after dark, such as properties, gardens, squares, exhibitions or advertisements. Thanks to its hermetic housing (IP65), it is suitable for outdoor applications, protecting against moisture and dust. A 0.8-meter long connection cable facilitates installation.

Functionality and application

This model of twilight switch is designed to work with a load of up to 16A (4000W for resistive loads). It has a built-in light sensor that precisely reacts to changes in light intensity in the range of 2 to 1000 lux. The switching threshold can be adjusted, adapting the moment of turning on the lighting to individual needs. Additionally, the on delay (10 seconds) and off delay (20 seconds) minimize the risk of unwanted reactions to temporary changes in lighting, e.g. during a storm. This ensures that the device works stably and reliably.

Construction and mounting

The AZH-106 switch is made of durable thermoplastic, which ensures its durability and resistance to weather conditions. Surface mounting is simple and quick – just attach the switch to the wall with two screws. The hermetic housing and IP65 protection rating guarantee safe use even in harsh weather conditions. The OMY 3x1 mm² connection cable, 0.8 m long, facilitates connection to the electrical installation. The device is halogen-free, which increases its safety and environmental friendliness.
