Twilight switch – intelligent lighting control

The AZH twilight switch is a reliable device designed for automatic switching on of lighting after dusk and switching it off at dawn. It is ideal for both home and commercial installations, providing convenience, energy savings and increased safety. The device is characterized by a hermetic housing (IP65), which guarantees resistance to weather conditions and allows installation outdoors. The included 0.8-meter connection cable facilitates installation.

Functionality and application

The AZH switch is equipped with a built-in light sensor that precisely monitors the level of daylight intensity. Thanks to the adjustable switching threshold (2-1000 lx) and hysteresis (approx. 15 lx), the device's sensitivity can be adjusted to individual needs and environmental conditions. The on delay (approx. 10 s) and off delay (approx. 20 s) minimize the risk of accidental switching caused by short-term changes in lighting, e.g. by passing cars or lightning. The device is designed to control various types of light sources, including LEDs (maximum switching LED power: 150 W). Using a twilight switch allows for the automation of lighting for building facades, gardens, parking lots, shop windows or recreational areas.

Construction and technical parameters

The housing of the switch is made of durable thermoplastic, which ensures its durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The relay output element with a maximum load current of 10 A and a maximum switching power of 2500 W guarantees safe and reliable operation of the device. Surface mounting is simple and intuitive, and the compact dimensions (51 x 67 x 26 mm) allow for discreet placement of the switch anywhere. Halogen-free construction eliminates the risk of toxic substances forming in the event of a fire. The device operates in a temperature range from -25°C to +50°C, which ensures its functionality in various climatic conditions. The rated voltage is 230 V AC.
