Twilight switch – intelligent lighting control

The AZH-S twilight switch is a reliable solution for automatically turning on and off outdoor lighting, such as street lighting, squares, building facades or advertising. The device reacts to the level of light intensity, providing comfort and energy savings. Thanks to the external, hermetic probe, the light sensor can be placed in an optimal location, guaranteeing precise operation even in difficult weather conditions. Surface mounting simplifies installation in existing electrical installations.

Functionality and application

This model of the switch is designed to work with a load of up to 16A (4000W), making it suitable for both energy-saving LED lighting (up to 250W) and traditional light sources. The adjustable switching threshold (2-1000 lx) allows you to adjust the sensitivity to individual needs and environmental conditions. The on delay (10 s) and off delay (20 s) minimize the risk of unwanted reactions to momentary changes in light intensity, e.g. during passing cars or lightning. This ensures that the device operates stably and reliably for a long time.

Construction and mounting

The housing made of thermoplastic provides durability and resistance to external conditions. The IP20 degree of protection guarantees safe use in dry rooms or under a roof. Screw terminals allow for easy and secure connection of wires with a cross-section of up to 2.5 mm². The external probe with a 1 meter long cable allows for flexible positioning of the light sensor. It is important to avoid running the probe cable close to power cables to prevent interference with the device's operation. The halogen-free device is more environmentally friendly.
