The AZH-S dusk-to-dawn sensor is a reliable solution for automatically switching lights on and off depending on the light intensity. Ideal for outdoor applications – street lighting, squares, shop windows – as well as indoor use. The device reacts to changes in light levels, providing comfort and energy savings. An external sensor, included with the device, allows for precise monitoring of lighting conditions.

Application and functionality

This model is distinguished primarily by its ease of use. Thanks to the adjustable switching on and off threshold (in the range of 2-1000 lx) and time delay (on 10s, off 20s), the device's operation can be adapted to specific needs. The delay minimizes the risk of accidental switching caused by short-term changes in lighting, e.g. a passing car or lightning. Surface mounting simplifies installation, and compact dimensions (51 x 67 x 25.5 mm) allow for discreet placement of the device.

Construction and parameters

The AZH-S sensor has been designed with durability and safety in mind. Made of high-quality thermoplastic, it is resistant to weather conditions (IP20 protection class for the sensor and IP65 for the probe). A relay with a maximum load of 16A (4000W) ensures compatibility with various types of light sources – traditional bulbs, halogen lamps, energy-saving fluorescent lamps and LEDs (maximum switchable LED power: 250W). Suitable for operation in a wide temperature range (-25°C to +50°C). The external probe with a diameter of 10mm provides accurate measurement of light intensity. Additionally, the halogen-free design of the device increases safety.
