Versatile application and reliable detection

The DRM-02 sensor is perfect for corridors, yards, driveways, garages, and many other places where automatic lighting is needed after motion detection. The ability to use it as a presence sensor further increases its functionality. Because it uses microwave technology, there are no "dead zones" typical of infrared sensors. It detects motion both "towards" and "away" from the sensor, ensuring a quick response to a person's presence.

Configuration and parameters tailored to needs

DRM-02 offers a wide range of adjustments, allowing you to adapt the operation to specific conditions and preferences. The ability to adjust the detection radius (1-10 m at a height of 2.5 m) and the receiver switch-on time (5 s - 12 min) allows for precise sensor adjustment. A built-in twilight switch prevents unnecessary lighting during the day – the sensor activates only after dark. An LED indicator with green light informs about the receiver being switched on.

This sensor is characterized by a supply voltage in the range of 18-24 V AC, which ensures compatibility with most electrical installations. The maximum AC-1 load current is 5 A, allowing control of various types of lighting. It provides full coverage thanks to a horizontal detection field of 360°. It uses a microwave radiation frequency of 5.8 GHz, which is safe for humans and animals (radiation power below 10 mW). It has an IP40 protection degree – protects against solid objects larger than 1 mm. It can operate in a wide temperature range from -25 to 50 °C. Its compact dimensions (Ø103 x 44 mm) make installation easy. Power consumption is only 0.9 W, which translates to energy savings.

Surface mounting is quick and easy thanks to the use of 1.0 mm² screw terminals with a tightening torque of 0.25 Nm. The sensor is designed for indoor use and its operation is not disturbed by temperature changes.
