Socket for series 55 94.54SPA
Socket for Series 55 Relays – Compatible, Screwless, DIN Rail
This socket is designed exclusively for use with Series 55.32 and 55.34 relays. It is not compatible with other models – do not attempt to use it with relays from other series, even if they appear similar. Compatibility is critical: an incorrect relay may not seat properly, resulting in poor contact or damage.
Mounting is on a 35 mm DIN rail – the standard for control panels. Dimensions are compact: 31 mm width, 95.4 mm height, and 81.3 mm depth – ideal for dense layouts where every millimeter counts. No additional fastening is required; the socket stays securely on the rail by itself.
Terminals are spring-loaded – no screws needed. Simply insert the wire, and the terminal will automatically grip it. This ensures quick installation and a durable connection that does not loosen over time like screw terminals. The terminals cannot be detached; if you need to replace the relay, the entire module must be removed.
It features 14 pins – exactly what a standard Series 55.32/55.34 relay requires. There are no extra pins or empty spaces. This is not a universal socket; it is precisely matched to the specified relay type.
Operating temperature range is from -25°C to +70°C – suitable for both cool technical rooms and hot control panels containing motors or transformers. Rated voltage is 250 V AC, current up to 10 A – sufficient for most control circuits: pumps, fans, valves, lighting.
It has IP20 protection – it does not protect against dust or water, but prevents accidental contact with live parts by fingers or tools. This socket is intended for indoor panel use only – do not install it in exposed locations.
It cannot be expanded with additional modules (e.g., indicator LEDs). However, replacement is easy: if the relay fails, simply remove it and insert a new one – no soldering or cable disconnection required.
Compliant with EN 60715 standard for DIN rails and meets CE and UL requirements – meaning it can be used in both Europe and the USA/Canada without additional certifications.
Constructed from high-impact and heat-resistant plastic – it will not crack during installation or operation at elevated temperatures.
