Dirt separator – protection and efficiency of the installation

The Flamco Clean Smart dirt separator is a modern solution designed for heating and cooling systems. Its task is to remove harmful impurities from the installation water, such as rust, sand, sediment and other solid particles. This protects key system components – boilers, pumps, valves and heat exchangers – from damage and failures, extending their service life and ensuring stable operation.

This separator is characterized by high efficiency, even at high flow rates (up to 3 m/s) and low hydraulic resistance. This prevents a drop in pressure in the installation and does not negatively affect its energy efficiency. The device is based on the principle of vacuum and magnetic force, which allows it to capture even the smallest particles of contamination. In addition, the drain valve facilitates the periodic removal of accumulated sediment.

Construction and application

Flamco Clean Smart is designed to operate in both open and closed systems, as well as in solar and cooling installations. The possibility of using it in water-glycol mixtures (up to 50% concentration) expands its range of applications. It is made of durable materials – brass (connections) and other corrosion-resistant materials – which guarantees its long-lasting and reliable operation. It has an internal gas parallel BSPP-G thread (ISO 228-1) with a diameter of 1 inch (25 mm), which facilitates installation in existing installations. The overall length is 106 mm.

The device works perfectly both in new installations and during the modernization of older heating systems. It is particularly recommended in situations where an open system is being converted to a closed system or when there are problems with the deposition of contaminants in the boiler or pump.
