This built-in Franke Basis BFG 651-78 sink in onyx color is a combination of practical solutions and high-quality materials. Made of Fragranit composite, it is exceptionally resistant to everyday damage and easy to clean. It is ideal for both home and professional kitchens.

The sink is characterized by a two-compartment layout, which facilitates dish segregation and washing of larger items. The main compartment with dimensions of 340 x 420 x 200 mm provides a comfortable space for washing pots and pans, while the smaller compartment (150 x 290 x 100 mm) is perfect for rinsing vegetables or defrosting products. The reversible design allows you to adjust the drainer setting to your individual preferences and kitchen layout.

Fragranit material – a guarantee of reliability

The Fragranit material used in production is a composite consisting of 80% natural quartz and 20% acrylic resin. This makes the sink extremely resistant to:

• Scratches and impacts: Quartz is one of the hardest minerals, ensuring high surface durability.
• High temperature: You can place a hot pot on it for a short time (up to 15 seconds at a temperature of up to 280°C) without fear of damage.
• Stains and discoloration: The material does not absorb liquids, making it easy to clean.
• UV radiation: The color of the sink remains unchanged even with prolonged exposure to sunlight.

Additionally, the smooth surface of Fragranit limits the development of bacteria and microorganisms, ensuring hygiene in the kitchen.

Installation and functionality

The Franke Basis BFG 651-78 sink is designed for inset mounting into a kitchen countertop. The set includes a siphon and an automatic plug controlled by a stainless steel knob. Four under-mount holes allow for the installation of a kitchen faucet, dish soap dispenser or other accessories – their arrangement can be adjusted to your own needs (the distance between the under-mounts for the faucet and dispenser is 8 cm). The sink is compatible with a waste disposer. The minimum width of the cabinet under the sink should be 60 cm.
