The sink is designed with practicality in mind. Two bowls with dimensions of 340 x 420 x 200 mm and 150 x 290 x 100 mm allow for comfortable washing of even large dishes, and draining boards on both sides provide additional space for drying. The possibility of installing a waste disposer is another advantage of this model.

Fragranit+ material – a synonym for durability

Fragranit+ is a composite consisting of 80% natural quartz and 20% acrylic binder. This makes the sink exceptionally resistant to:

• Scratches: Quartz is one of the hardest minerals, providing high resistance to mechanical damage.
• Impacts: Solid construction and Fragranit+ material protect against damage during daily use.
• High temperature: You can place a hot pot on it for a short time (up to 15 seconds at a temperature of up to 280°C) without fear of damaging the surface.
• Stains and discoloration: The material does not absorb liquids, so it maintains an aesthetic appearance for a long time.
• UV radiation: The color of the sink remains intense even with prolonged exposure to sunlight.

Additionally, the sink surface is hygienic and easy to clean – just a soft microfiber cloth and a special Franke Colored Sink cleaner is sufficient.

Installation and functionality

The Franke Basis BFG 651-78 sink is designed for inset mounting into a kitchen countertop. It requires a cutout with dimensions of 760 x 480 mm with a corner radius of R=12 mm. It has two under-mounted holes that allow mounting of additional accessories, such as a dish soap dispenser or a kitchen faucet (holes on the left and right side). The set includes a siphon and an automatic plug controlled by a round stainless steel knob – a guarantee of convenience. This model is reversible, providing flexibility during installation and adaptation to the kitchen layout. The minimum width of the cabinet under the sink should be 60 cm.
